EmielDe natuur gaat gewoon haar gang, wat er ook gebeurt en dieren, planten, etc. weten precies wanneer het tijd is om iets te doen. Wij zijn eigelijk maar een zielig clubje: de mens; we hebben van alles nodig om ons te vertellen wanneer we wat moeten doen; we weten nauwelijks raad meer met onszelf. Intussen vernietigen we alles wat we niet begrijpen, maar ondanks de puinhopen die we maken gaat de natuur gewoon haar gang... Dat kan me erg raken...

Het zegt wel iets over de structuur van de gedachten wereld en zijn representant (zoals Alan watts en andere goereos), waardoor zij zichzelf meer of minder weerleggen. Waar mensen al niet achter aanlopen alvorens zij hun wezen doorgronden. Een goed moraal als basis weerspiegelt een compassioneel denken dat verwijst naar het geluk van velen en niet alleen naar dat van de filosoof of goeroe die zichzelf tracht te verheerlijken. Zucht. Als dit fundament niet goed is ga ik toch twijfelen aan de rest. Zie hun schijnheilige blik wanneer zij zichzelf aangschouwen terwijl ze iets zeggen (want dat is meestal een belangrijk deel van wat ze vekondigen), dat zegt genoeg.
